A note from the ranch

We host one event at a time, and we do not charge extra for the land.

George Stanton has been working this Hill Country land since 1988, raising cattle and building something that the family has always been proud of. The ranch — 2,500 acres of ponds, pastures, wildflowers, and live oak — eventually became a place he wanted to share.

The Stanton Ranch Wedding & Event Center grew from that instinct. Not a venue manufactured for Instagram, but a working ranch that happens to be one of the most beautiful settings in all of Johnson City. When you book it, it's yours — no overlapping events, no strangers in the background of your portraits.

The Stanton Ranch land

Most Hill Country venues are a barn on a flat acre. This one is a working 2,500-acre ranch.

The land is the whole point.

Ponds that catch the Hill Country sunset. Pastures where livestock graze the same fields your photographer will walk you through at golden hour. Wildflowers that carpet the property every spring. Live oaks, rolling terrain, and two and a half thousand acres with nobody else on them but your people.

George has been running this ranch since 1988 — it's not a manufactured backdrop. It's real Texas. And on your wedding day, all of it is yours.
